ETCC 2020: European Technical Coatings Congress

ETCC2020 – European Technical Coatings Congress

will be held on 2-4 September 2020 in Krakow (Poland)

The ETCC2020 lectures will present the latest scientific and technical achievements for paints and coatings, construction materials, adhesives and graphics.

Topics of papers include mainly:

Advances in Sciences of Paints & Coatings, Adhesives, Construction Material
Chemical composition and products specification
Polymers and other raw materials range
Progress in processing and production
Measuring and testing, quality systems
Equipment and production lines
Application methods and equipment
Thermal degradation of paints and coatings
Environment & Safety & Health
Products, process legislations

The organizers of the ETCC2020 congress are:

FATIPEC -Federation of Associations of Technicians for the Paint Industry in European Countries (www.fatipec.com) and SITPChem -Polish Association of Chemical Engineers (www.sitpchem.org.pl). FATIPEC has 70 years tradition in congress organizing. SITPChem is active in the science and technical solutions areas for over 90 years.

ETCC2020 is the most prestigious and important technical and scientific event creating a platform and a “meeting point” of industry and science represented by institutes and universities. It creates the possibility of international cooperation and collecting unique knowledge about the newest materials, products, processing, equipment, research and testing.

During the three days event there will be plenary presentations and 3-4 parallel sessions, poster presentations as well as exhibition.

Session „Summer School“ with lectures dedicated for young scientists and students is a part of the congress.

Speakers represent the largest companies, institutes, universities across Europe, as well as the USA, Japan, China, South America and other countries.

Presentations from the congress can be published in world-wide journals, mainly those with the Impact Factor

The papers and presentations are evaluated according to specified criteria, including: scientific and technical novelty, applicability, way of presentation.

Awards of 1000 Euro are granted for best papers in the following categories:

for the best presentation of the congress
for the best paper presented by young scientists (age up to 35 years)
for the best ecological paper

FATIPEC covers full costs of participation in the congress for a young scientist from its each member country.

Since the year 1950 FATIPEC regularly organizes scientific and technical congresses. In 2012, the existing traditional „FATIPEC Congress“ continues with the name “ETCC- European Technical Coatings Congress”.

FATIPEC took over the management of the Global Federation of CSI – Coatings Societies International (www.csi-coatings.org). It will support involvement of specialists from around the world at the congress
